the bottom line is that data connections must be perfect or you get useless cryptic errors..

if you are using an access database it is most likely an incorrect path or lack of proper missions on the folder the database is in

Basically you have to keep trying things until you get a data connection working.. there is no definete answer I can give you.. until you get a data connection working you are really not even running any of my applications code..

it is a very low level thing... data connection strings must be perfect.. access database folder permissions must be perfect

If you are using SQL Server it still must be perfect but folder permissions are not involved..
