I installed the product. Everything works fine but when I Uploaded  a new image file I cannot see it if I am logged-In from a remote browser. But I can see it if I am on loacl machine.

Old image files I see them from remote connection. No problem.

Please help.

You can recreate the problem. Go to a remote Browser and login as admin and upload an image file (.GIF) and try to view it.

Thanks

Josh Coswell

Most likely the url path you have set for the image folder image is only valid locally..

Check your admin settings page..

I mean... you can't use something containing localhost and then expect another machine to be able to see it..

But all old image files are in the same folder with the same URL and are visible remotely and locally.

Please help.

You can recreate the problem. Go to a remote Browser and login as admin and upload an image file (.GIF) and try to view it.

Thanks

Now think about... How am I going to recreate the problem ?

It's your setup and haven't even told me the web address to get to it. How do you expect me to log into anything?

before I even look at the image thing..

Go to the settings page...

http://www.riverasp.net/aspbanner/settings.asp

Look at all those messed up field values...

That tells me that you manually edited the config file and completely corrupted it's struture...

I suggest you copy down your working connection string... put a fresh copy of that config in there.. and start from scratch..

Being super careful to edit that config file correctly without modifying it's basic structure in anyway... That means dont add any extra line breaks or anything..  and be aware in that file quotes are not used..

Also..
If you want me to go into your web and fix it for you tommoro I will..
