then the dsn isn't set up right.. system dsns are really hard to get working on an access database with a password in it... the password must be specified when creating by going into advanced tabs that most people don't go into..
regardless, dont connect using a DSN.. use a dns-less connecting string
they are faster, more efficent, and a lot easier to get working
