We bought your Classified as we were satisfied with your photos gallery application.
Unfortunately your classified application do not offer the AspJpg resizing selection (as we have in your Classified) which is a big problem as our host C° only offer AspJpeg
Is there anything to do plse? Thank you

what you could do is examine how the ASPJpeg code works in the photo app and edit the code in the classifieds to use it.. there is no simple answer other than that..
it would come down to doing some code work.. aspclassifieds is an older app thus it only supports aspimage

According your previous answer concerning the lack of AspJpeg in ASPClassifieds I checked the code between ASPPhotoGallery and ASPClassifieds
The ASPPhotoGallery upload_post_ASPUPLOAD.asp include a image_resize_inc.asp and I tried to organize that in the same way in the ASPClassifieds
But it’s out of my competence and hours after I have no result
That is probably peanuts for you any chance you help me on that plse?

Sorry, ultimately I do not support custimization to the code. I only support getting the base application running. I offer tips like I gave you but that is it.
That work is going to be time consuming. If you want to hire me that is fine, but it is going to be 3-4 hours work in my estimate. I mean it's gonna cost more to make the app work with aspjpeg than the app currently costs. Not only that I don't even want to do the work I am so busy right now. LOL
Seriously, but money talks so if you want the work done and can't do it yourself let me know.

Well I think to integrate your Set ObjModifiedImage = Server.CreateObject("Persits.Jpeg") script in the upload_post_ASPUPLOAD.asp ASPClassifieds wouldn’t be a great problem for you so f you would be so kind enough to do that job for me on a reasonable price I would love to hire your services. Bear in mind I bought the ASPClassifieds after having used your ASPPhotoGallery and was really persuaded to have the same upload facility.
Thank you

well, I'll quote ya 80.00.. I am expecting it to take 3-4 hours of messing around and that is a heavily discounted rate.
I'll need you to PM me site access details so I can go in and do the work. You can make payment here. I am very busy this month and the weekend is coming up so I will need a week time frame to fit the work into my schedule.
http://www.cjwsoft.com/pay/
If your interested just make payment and send me what I need to get into the site and do the work.
Also please dont make a new thread everytime you respond to a thread like this. In my opinion your last two posts should have been in this thread so I moved them here. It keeps the flow of the forums clean and organized instead of having a bunch of related posts scattered all over the place.. And there is no need to comment on that.. please just keep that in mind when using the forum. It helps everyone to keep things organized.
Thank You..

ok, please PM the info to access the site.. I am also wondering how you got the app running on a server with french regional settings as that app is only designed to run on us servers..? As a matter of fact it usually wont even run. I'll guess I'll see.

Was this problem solved? My server has ASPJPEG as well?
This looks really sad with no preview pic or little broken link x's where thumbnails should appear.
Thumbnails work in ASP Listings, which looks almost like the same program. Would copying code from one app to another work?

1st, I want to make it very clear that this wasn't a problem with the application.
ASPClassifieds doesn't suppport ASPJPeg plain and simple.
This person wanted it to work with ASPJPeg and I did custom code work for them. That code is not something available for other users as is very specific to their french altered installation and they paid me to make it for them.
As for seeing little red x's you should'nt be seeing red x's anywhere. I don't remember ASPImage being a requirment for having/using category icons. If your seeing little red x's something is wrong with your configuration and you start a new thread addressing that.
--- And no copying code from one app to the other wont work. Too much is different. You would have to look at the code in each application and intelligently integrate ASPJPeg code into ASPClassifieds much like I did for the person above when they hired me to do so.
