Anyone have an idea on how to keep the performance up while having numerous categories, levels, and postings?  I've attached a screen shot of the page with the content.

I just went to your website and as you said ASPClassifieds it is running like a complete dog. I say its the server based on how it's acting. Not enough juice.. either that or too many other sites running asp and databases on it.

I mean really.. you got nothing going on as far as ASPClassifieds goes.. that's not a lot of categories or items..

As far as I can tell that webserver is running Windows NT 4 and IIS4.. it is an outdated configuration and probably has a fairly slow processor and no abundance of memory compared to modern servers.. chances are its gonna run slow with dynamic content like asp and a database.

It seems there are around 19 other sites hosted on that server. What they do as far as ASP goes and how much juice the server has I do not know. Even when static pages serve up like hotcakes dynamic pages might not.

I have no way to know if that server is doing anything else than server web pages either. If it is doing SQL Server, Mail, DNS, or anything else that just adds to the load. 

It seems your the administrative contact so you must know the real facts if I have gotten any of this wrong.

An NT 4 system like like is gonna need a decent processor, lots of memory, and not a lot of sites on it to run asp/database code well. And the server needs to be well configured and running smoothly as far as software installed on it goes.
