If there is a way to move or reassign Albums into a specific or different Category, please do tell me.

sorry, there is not.. nor would it be easy to do manually cause of the way it was designed .. you'd have to rename every single picture file associated with the album as well as things in the database..
Wait.. I am thinking of indivual pictures being moved around... category changing for an album is easy.. dont ya just edit an album and change the category ??

Actually already tried but I'm seeing the following.
No Albums Exist In This Level
Odd thing is, when I edit the Album the appropriate corresponding Category is displayed in the drop down box. The Photo Gallery homepage displays the two Categories I have configured but neither have any Albums under them when you click to navigate. And their Counter is displayed at (0).

did you read the upgrade instructions carefully... cause that is why.. you missed something important that I talk about in them..
a new field that must be populated manually (to true) in the database if you want old albums to show up..
It's the part I wrote in big bold red letters, I bet you skipped it
IMPORTANT Last Modification

Well, actually have only downloaded the upgrade and have not opened it. Still working on previous version server move thing. So, it's off to read the "what I should have already read" stuff. Is there a field in previous version to V3 that needs to be or can be manipulated to make "Old Albums" show up? Or should I just do the upgrade and follow the instructions as you mention?

no, but you told me earlier your version 2 moved to the new server was working perfectly..
That to me suggests albums were showing up..
You then bought the upgrade which suggest to me you did the upgrade.
You then post this which suggests to me you missed that one part of the directions.
See what I am getting at.. I can only make so may assumptions when I don't have all the details.. on what you doing or not doing...
......
If you are not seeing albums in their respective categories with version 2 then it has nothing to do with what I just said.. It's another issue regarding ODBC drivers being gay.. and ya I have a fix.. it is even mentioned in the forums a few times but the fix covers version 3
Regardless, it's 11 pm halloween night and and am taking a break from the computer, I'll help you more tommoro

Well, now I am confused. In my directory, there's a file that talks about upgrading from version 2 to version 3 and has the info you said I probably overlooked. So, maybe I already have version 3 and thought I had version 2? Doesn't matter, I sure didn't mind spending another $20 to get some help. Brings me to a question, "how do we know what version we have?"
Trick-r-treat, only 10:00 pm here in central IL and only had one little girl show up. How sad since we bought so much candy thinking there would be tons of kids in the new subdivision

then you must have version 3... as for knowing what version ya got I am not that organzied as far as that app goes... you basically know by what it said the version was on the web site when you made the purchase I guess...
anyway, if ya got new stuff like the new fields mentioned in the upgrade instructions then you got version 3.. hell, if you got the upgrqde instructions in your old files you got version 3
as for your no albums in the categoies issue.. try this thread for now http://support.cjwsoft.com/code/code_info.asp?TID=340&KW =%2D1
lastly your problem could also be related to using DTS and going from sql to access to sql.. that usually leaves fileds with incorrect settings which can also cause lots of problems like this... the dts isn't smart enough to convert some field types back and forth right... just something else to consider.. checking all the filed types manually in the database is a good thing... to see if they got set like the sql script sets them..
