I noticed that when I copy a page form our prtected website, you can past that link into another new explorer page and that page will open without asking for a login. It seems that only our first main page is protected with a login and password.

How can i protect all our pages from our website when they try to open them or try to use copy and past tools. I assume it was working before? Do I need to add maybe some html codes on all the pages, I want to protect.

I also have placed all the page now under the aspprotect directory in our root and pages can still be copy and past and so be readed in a clear explorer page.

I am nopt realy a pro in this ASP, so good support would be helpfull. Never the less when I know how to do it, I can help myself with frontpage to change things in the html code and page.

Hi,

I really have no idea what you are  trying to say when you mention copying and pasting the web pages ???

I can say this.. every single page you want protected must be a ".asp" page and it must have the ASP protection code added to it per the instructions. Or else it will not be pritected from viewing.

Thank you, I will make all change all our pages to ASP.

Does these new ASP page need to be placed in a certain directory in the root, for example the aspprotect directory or can this be in the main directory or any other directory?

Witch codes need to be added and where do I need the add on every single page this certain code with the html editor.

What I noticed: I want to send a newsletter email to customers that have a attachment link in it, to a certain page on our website. So when you open that link or when you copy that link into MS explorer, you can view that page without that there is a request for a login or password. These page are all html i must say. It is the meaning

as long as its all set as the same "application " in iis the directory locaton does not matter

where you put the protection code is explained in the docs in detail.. and also in the example protected pages that came with the application.

any ".htm" pages you want to protect must be renamed to ".asp"

ASP means ".asp" not ".htm"  if you add the protection code to a ".htm" page it will not work
