I was wondering if your software would allow me to customize the fields for the users.  This is my biggest problem with using the canned 2.0 Membership, is that I am having a hard time modifying to accept everyday things such as First Name, Last Name, Address info, etc.  Thanks for the support.

Well, as it says on this page.
http://www.aspprotect.com/more_info_net.asp

This is just an ASP.NET Authentication ADD-ON for the Classic ASP Version 7 of ASPProtect.. all this add-on does is allow you to authenticate ".aspx" pages

Anything you want to do regarding customizing fields is not really relevant to this ASP.NET Authentication Process as long as you do not rename any fields in the ASPProtect Database.

And anything you do regarding adding new fields, etc etc would be done on the Classic ASP side of the product and in the database. You can add any fields you want to the database as long as you do not rename any of the existing. You can edit the registration forms, you can edit anything. You get the ASP source code.

Look at the Classic Version 7 demo and you will see that the system already comes with a lot of user fields ready to go as well as 6 custom ones you can add without even editing any code.

And furthermore any new fields you may manually add can be retrieved on the ASP.NET side of things after authenticating a user. I can provide code examples for that.

So basically, your question is not something I would be concernced with regarding the ASPProtect product line at least not the way I understand it.

Also, if you have concerns download ASPProtect Lite and the ASP.NET Authentication Add-on and play around with it all on a local development server should you have one. Anyone working with ASP.NET should be doing that anyway so I would hope you are doing that.
