If you want to have a login form on a non protected page that posts to a protected ".asp" page use code like this.
Change the action of the form to the page you want them to log into. Make sure the page you send them to is protected by the "check_user_inc.asp" file.
<center> <table border="0" width="400" height="200" bgcolor="#000000"> <tr> <td bgcolor="#F4F4F4"> <form method="POST" action="memberarea.asp"> <input type="hidden" name="Status" value="Checkem"> <p align="center"><font face="Arial">ASPProtect Login</font></p> <div align="center"> <center> <table border="0" bgcolor="#C0C0C0"> <tr> <td bgcolor="#EBEBEB"><strong><small><font face="Arial">Username</font></small></stro ng></td> <td><input type="text" name="Username" size="10"></td> </tr> <tr> <td bgcolor="#EBEBEB"><strong><small><font face="Arial">Password</font></small></stro ng></td> <td><input type="Password" name="Password" size="10"></td> </tr> <tr> <td bgcolor="#EBEBEB" colspan="2"><font face="Verdana, Arial, Helvetica" size="-1"><input type="checkbox" name="KEEPMESIGNEDIN" value="True">Keep me signed in on this computer unless I log off.</font></td> </tr> </table> </center> </div> <div align="center"> <center> <p> <input type="submit" value="Login"></p> </center> </div> </form> </td> </tr> </table> </center>
