well everything has been up and running fine for year then i get this:

Microsoft OLE DB Provider for ODBC Drivers error '80004005'

/aspprotect/scripts/populate_config_variables_inc.asp, line 11

Hosting company "hostway" says its a client side issue but i haven't changed anything

They say my folders are correct with 777 permisions. any help would be great.

Hi,

777 permissions are a unix thing so that doesn't mean anything relevant..

its' permissions or an incorrect data path.. it pretty much always is..

sometimes folders lose permissions.. sometimes hosts moves things around on there server and the physical paths change..

you got to go through all that and pretty much set the app up again like you did when you started .. course this time you can keep the database and asp files you got..

after 2 days and 15 phone calls techsupport finally got this back up and running still having other issues with there server like front page extensions but hey at least i can log in and run asp pages...
