I have been getting delivery failures for the email a friend/send a postcard ap.  Somehow I forgot to test it when I initially installed ASPPhotoGalleryPro so I don't think it's worked yet on my configuration.  I do get a delivery failure email but not the email itself.  I get this error message: "Diagnostic-Code: smtp;553 sorry, your mail was administratively denied. (#5.7.1)"  which seems to imply there is a setting that may allow this ap.  I have disabled new user accounts, but don't think it effects this.  Is there a setting to allow postcards and email a friend a gallery link aps.  I did not see it in "settings" and have not found any reference to it here in this forum.  Below is a copy of one of the delivery failure emails.

well, the deal with emailing is.. all those errors you are seeing are coming from things other than the asp code.. bascially the settings you have entered to send mail are not valid and the components that send the emails are sending back errors.

So, what you have to do is send test emails and try different settings until you find a scenario that works..

best way is to send an email to an individual user from the admin users screen... once it works there it will work from anywehre within the application..

Essentially just keep trying different email settings in the admin settings page until you find settings that work.. you also should check the server info page to see what emailing compnents your server has installed and check with the hosting company to see what settings they recommend using.

The email a friend function still does not work. I have tried the other settings besides cdonts. This info from GoDaddy says they support CDONTS and I have made simple email forms on their server in the past: Our ASP form mailer is WEBFORMMAILER.ASP. Form-mailer functionality is also supported through CDOSYS on all Windows hosting accounts, and through CDONTS on Windows hosting accounts running IIS6.

Dear Christopher,
I sent you a private message a week or two ago saying that I would welcome any assistance you can give and that I would be willing to give you my password and login for my server to see if you can help.  I still am getting getting a large number of users added to my gallery and I do not see where they are coming from or how to stop them. They do not seem to be able to add galleries or access existing ones but it seems to be a huge hole in my security.  I don't want anyone but me adding users or galleries or anything.  I still am unable to get the email a friend functionality working.  I have now purchased two versions of this software from you and intend to purchase a third in the next week for a third client.  It would really help to resolve these issues.  If you are unable to recieve messages from me through your private messenger what is your personal email so I can send my login information to because I will not post it in the forum and think it would be really awome if you could help?
