In the User Management Application, I am getting the following error when doing a mass email.

"Mail send failure. Error was 503 RCPT first (#5.5.1) Email Sent to (chewiecake@rogers.com)

------------------------------------------------------------ --------------------
All emails From 1st Batch Successfully Sent..
You can now run another Batch if you have any left. "

Using ASPMAIL
Using SMTP Authentication
Hosted on Alentus Server

before you try sending any mass emails.. you want to make sure that emailing in general is working..

in other words test the email settings by sending a user from the admin screen an a single email..

so set up a user with an email accoun that you can check.. and from the admin users screen send them an email..

you'll get cryptic errors until you find/enter settings for the email configuration that actually work..

even when I set up a system I usually have try 4-5 scenarios until I find one that works as ever host has a different steup..

Using CDOSYS is always your best option.. if the host supports it that is the component you should try to get sending emails before any other..

Thanks for the advice. I was using the mass e-mail feature as an example. Non of the mail related tasks were functionning from the Administrator area.

Strangely, notification of new registrants was being sent. I gues I should have mentionned that?

Anyway, this is the third time I've puchased your software. I love it!

Using CDOSYS was not working in any combination of settings. ASPMAIL ended up being the setting that worked.
