Hi -
We have been using ASPProtect for several years (v.
7.x) to manage access to a training event/calendar data entry application,
another small data entry application and some download folders. These
applications are similar and have relatively small defined memberships that are
fairly static. We maintain all registrants in the same database.
We have another application (vendor location) that
has a lot more volume and at the moment is open access - no login/registration.
We'd like to use ASPProtect in this application too, to establish a simple
registration so that we can track usage more closely.
This new application differs considerably in look
and feel, in purpose, and in the ASPProtect parameter settings. Our current
apps are limited and restricted, the new app is open. We have not been able to
figure a way to do both with the same ASPProtect setup. Also, we want to keep
the data for the new application in a different database, separate from the
other data.
1. Is there a way to do this?
2. Do we need a second license, installation
etc?
3. If the solution is too complex for us to
implement easily, would you consider taking it on as a custom job?
Thanks for your attention.
