One thing I would like to add is that Classic ASP and ASP.NET each run their own separate Session & Application variables which are not shared. Meaning if you log in to a classic asp page then go to a ASP.NET page you will have to log in there as well and vice versa. If your users choose the remember me option on log in they will only have log in to each kind of page once so it really isn't that big of a deal. Just an inconvenience for the users.
In the future I will be exploring some clever ideas I have about ways to share the session info (so if you log into ".asp" it will somehow mimic any session variables created under .NET and vice versa) , but this release will not be doing that as all that is just an idea in my head at this point so no promises. To be very clear that also means I have no idea when and if it will ever even happen so please don't ask about it. If it happens it will be announced here. I am always trying out new ideas I have regarding it. It is not a simple thing.
